The sheep hear his voice as the shepherd calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. -John 10:3
We are told that the shepherd calls his sheep by NAME & leads them out. Are we going to listen for his voice and follow where He leads or are we too busy to listen, too overwhelmed to hear or too preoccupied to even know that the shepherd is calling? Will we follow him wherever He leads because He is God or will we just stay in the pen, with the many other sheep enjoying the safety, the protection the anonymity of the crowd? Today, as always, the good shepherd will call. Let us strive to follow Him with joyful hearts.
